With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ivis Saul Black (Morehead, Kentucky), who passed away on July 21, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemuel Black and Bessie Kidd Black; and his sister Pauline Jones. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Kegley Black; his son Michael Black (Deborah); his stepdaughter Patricia Stigall (Elmo Jr.) of Morehead; his grandchildren, Chad Black, Marvin Lee Hitch, Ritchie Black, Kelley Runner and Rachel Lynn Lowe; his siblings, Wayne Black (Judith), Lemuel Black, Jr. and Leona Jones; and his close friend Andy B. Slusher of Morehead. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
