She was predeceased by: her parents, Orbin Beard and Mary Taylor Beard; and her husband Floyd Reed Francis. She is survived by: her children, Floyd Francis (Vonda) of Morehead and Maryann Thornsberry of Bristol, Tennessee. She is also survived by three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family.
