He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Sparks and Evelyn Gaythal Reeder Sparks; his sons, Joseph Aaron Sparks and Chadwick Lee "Chad" Sparks; his sister Annabelle Sparks; and his daughter-in-law Lisa Watson Sparks.
He is survived by: his wife Tina Kay Hatton Sparks; his sisters, Alvaretta Vesperman of Navasota, Amelia Lewis of Morehead and Ella Sue Hatton (Butch) of Morehead; his granddaughters, Tyra Jade Meadows (Ben) of Morehead, Leanna Jordan Sparks (Chase Hamilton) of Morehead and Destini M'Shay Sparks of Florence; and his great grandchildren, Gabrien, Isaiah and Everleigh Meadows. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; extended family and many friends.
