He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Amos and Hellen Fraley; his wife Alberta June Whitt Barker; his son Edwin Gene Barker; and his grandchildren, Megan Renee Kendall and Jonathan Brock.
He is survived by: his children, Belinda Kendall (Gary) of Olathe, Kansas, Rhonda (Scott) of Morehead, Robin Pollitte (David) of Morehead, Brigette Brock (Bill) of Morehead and Chris Barker of Morehead; his grandchildren, Kristen Kendall of Oahu, Hawaii, Jeremy Kendall (Jesi) of Olathe, Kansas, Luke Kendall of Newport, California, Alysa Villelli (Nick) of Lexington, Kentucky, Christopher Green (Janelle), Lauria Webb (Mason) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Kayli Clatterbuck (Brant) of Asheville, Brianna Hurst (Paige) of Morehead and Brandon Brock (Jessica) of Mount Sterling; his great grandchildren, Annalee and Zeke Brock; his grandchildren, Landon, Morgan, Evelyn Kendall, Maya, Kami Clatterbuck, Raelyn Hurst, Grace Green, Erickson and Henry Villelli; and his cousins, Gene and Alberta. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
