He was predeceased by: his father John Frederick Parris; and his brothers, Kevin DeWitt and Thomas Harrison. He is survived by: his mother Pamela Schmidt DeWitt of Morehead; and his siblings, Kenneth Paris, Jacqueline Berlinn, Bill DeWitt and Patrick DeWittt. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
