It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis Levern Grimshaw (Morehead, Kentucky), who passed away on November 19, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry I. Grimshaw and Edna F. Woodcock Grimshaw; his children, Waneta Fern Grimshaw Scharff and Ed Grimshaw; his siblings, Herbert "Leroy" Grimshaw, Frederick Grimshaw, Dennis Grimshaw, Deloris Palmerton, Mary Smedley and Verna Folsom; and his wife Alta Maude "Sis" Kribs Grimshaw.
He is survived by: his children, Ivan Grimshaw (Debbie) of Morehead and Janet Young (Steve) of Salt Lick; his sister Carol Grimshaw of Caro, Michigan; and his daughter-in-law Erenia Grimshaw of Bonnieville. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Northcutt & Son Home For Funerals, Inc. (400 Fraley Dr, Morehead, KY 40351). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the Caudill Cemetery - Sharkey (25 Caudill Cemetery Rd, Morehead, KY 40351).
