He was predeceased by: his parents, Burl Porter and Eunadale Whitt Porter; his brothers, Ronnie Porter and Tommy Porter; and his grandson Brantley Scott Lawson.
He is survived by: his wife Della DeHart Porter; his children, Chris Porter, Daniel Porter, Joey Porter (Zoa) and Kayla Porter; his stepson Jason Runyon of Morehead; and his grandchildren, Chloe Hamm, Sophia Hamm, Tyler Smith and Tommie Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made payable to Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals to assist with funeral expenses.
