With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Colleta Yvonne Grindstaff in Morehead, Kentucky, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 14, 2021 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Colleta Yvonne Grindstaff to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jake Clarence Durham and Mabel May Durham (O'Neal); her daughters, Cindy Pearigen (Hart) of Collierville, TN and Angela Shoulders of Bowling Green, KY; her grandchildren, Ryan (Christine), Meghan and Kelly Weakley; and her great grandchild Harper Weakley.

“Colletta was such an important part of my life and our family. i will never forget her generosity and hospitality over the decades. When I was a University student with friends during spring break at Daytona Beach she was there with the Blair family. They took care inviting us and sharing steak dinner for my friends and I. She and the girls were always a part of special events, hospitality and great funny stories. Her sarcasm, unique humor and service at FBC will live on in all.”
