He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hampton and Mary Ginter Hampton; and his wife Aileen Catron Hampton. He is survived by: his sons, Larry J. Hampton of Morehead and Jimmie D. Hampton of Morehead; his sister Judy Ledford of Clearfield; his grandsons, John J. Hampton, Bram A. Hampton (Sophia), Joseph D. Hampton and Calvin J. Hampton; and his great grandchildren, Addison Hampton and Peighton Hampton. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
