He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Mary Conn Cox; his wife Barbara Fultz Cox; his son Gregory Allen Cox; his granddaughter Erin Nicole Whittaker; and his siblings, Arlen Cox, Orville Cox, Elijah Cox, Johnny Cox, Arminta Binion, Martha Feril Holbrook, Olive Parker, Hazel Brammer and Golda Richardson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheila Wooley (Jim) of Mount Sterling, Teresa Stacy (Rocky) of Morehead and Melissa Brooks (Greg) of Hillsboro; his grandchildren, Matthew Whittaker, Kristen Watson (Patrick), Jonathan Stacy (Ally), Jayla Lillard and Braeden Lillard; his great grandchild Avery Stacy; his sister Eunice Dubuisson of Middletown, Pennsylvania; his sisters-in-law, Evelyn Cox of Glasgow, Virginia Svencner (Frank) of Crown Point, Loretta Smedley (Harold) of Clearfield, Kentucky. and Brenda Bowman (Carlos) of Clearfield, Kentucky.; and also Shorty Boyd. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, friends.
COVID-19 mandates set forth by the Governor will be observed.
