She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Smith and Evelyn Wallace Smith; her husband Kenneth Larry Charles; her son Kenneth "Buddy" Charles; and her grandson Corey Maynard.
She is survived by: her children, Melissia "Missi" Kirk (Eddie) of Salt Lick and Larry "Scooter" Charles (Melinda) of Lakeview Heights; her grandchildren, Tyler Maynard, Kenna Barker (Austin), Easton and Maddux Charles; and her great grandchildren, Charlie Maynard and Zander Barker. She is also survived by "Meme" to her grandchildren.
