He is survived by: his sisters, Naomi Ward, Lois Goins and Sharon Gail Lanham; his wife Dorthula "Dottie" Wescott Alderson; his son James "Jimmy" Alderson; his grandsons, Kenneth, Austin and Brandon; his siblings, Ray Alderson of Woodleaf and Roma Coleman of St. Louis, Missouri.; his daughter-in-law Melina Alderson; his siblings-in-law, Rita Wescott of Lexington, Donna Stamper of Morehead and Terry Wescott of Louisville; and his grandsons, Tony Glover, Darrell Glover of Patrick Conn, Mike Conn, David Wescott and Gerald Conn.
