He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Ashton Markland. He is survived by: his wife Betty Sexton Markland; his children, Thrashley Markland, Jr. (Rhonda) and Connie Hinton (Jeff); his siblings, Marian Hatton and Donald Markland, Sr. (Patricia); his grandchildren, Andrea Bussell (Brad), Weston Hinton (Quinn Wachter), Holdan Markland and Lance Sandoval; and his great grandchildren, Zoey Jenkins, Presley and Cash Bussell. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
