It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Brown Shoemaker of Monticello, Kentucky, who passed away on July 8, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, C. E. "Ed" Brown and Mattie Hutchison Brown; her husband James Preston "Bub" Shoemaker; her siblings, Homer, James, Robert Brown, Dorothy Wilson and Margaret Altendahl; and her granddaughter Lindsey Nicole Harrod.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Shoemaker (Jerri) and Sandy Carter (Jerry); her grandchildren, Shane Shoemaker (Brandy), Chad Harrod (Erin) and Chelsea Shoemaker; and her great grandchildren, Grant and Will Shoemaker.
