He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Cummings and Beulah Cummings (Wilson); his wife Geneta Faye Cummings; his son Samuel Cummings, Jr.; and his siblings, Audie Cummings, James Cummings and Imogene Johnson.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Samantha Cummings and Cody Cummings; and his great grandchildren, Cameron Catron and Carly Cummings.
