He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Vaughn and Cora Vaughn (Gregory); his former wife Betty Vaughn; his granddaughter Brittany Upchurch; and his brothers, Othal, Edmon, Dillard, James, Millard, Milton, Denver, David and Robert Lee Vaughn.
He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Vaughn; his stepchildren, Melissa Upchurch, Dawn Jones, Amanda Sue Vaughn, Holly Nichole Phillips and Alex Cody Vaughn; his brother Larry Vaughn; and his grandchildren, Brianna Upchurch, Bentley Phillips, Jordan Jones, Cassie Stephens and Erica Jones.
