Polly Jean Kempton Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2025, at the age of 84, Polly Jean Kempton of Monticello, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Denney and Grace Denney (Catron); her husband Donald Kempton; her grandson Scottie Abbott; her great great grandchild Remi Price; and her siblings, Russell, David "Junior", Robert, James Edgar Denney, Alice Meredith, Georgia Diane Hill and Ina Sue Denney.

She is survived by: her children, Donna Morris, Ricky (Melissa), Eddie (Brenda) and Steve Kempton; her grandchildren, Chris Bell, Troy McGuire, Misty McGuire, Matthew Kempton, Kassy Kempton, Joe Kempton and Hannah Kempton; and her brothers, Tim and Kenny Denney. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel (647 N Main St, Monticello, KY 42633). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
