It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martin Edgar Lester of Monticello, Kentucky, born in Powersburg, Kentucky, who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Lester and Flossie Grace Lester (Hurt); his daughter Rebecca "Becky" Maxfield; and his siblings, Lois Lester, Lena Grace Lester Slagle and Lewis Lester.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Lester; his sister Margie Lester Gibson; and his son-in-law Ronald Maxfield of Monticello, KY.. He is also survived by his wife, sister, several nieces, nephews.
