He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Shelton and Derly Shelton (Meredith); and his siblings, Ed Ray Shelton, Norman, Fred Howard "Booster" Shelton, Billy Everett Shelton, Sammy Shelton, David Ray Shelton, Jethro Shelton, Loren Foster, George Foster, Marlene Prince and Laura Phillips.
He is survived by: his close friend Louise Coffey; his children, Anthony Dishman (Kellie Brown), Cynthia Johnson and Angela Phillips (Jeff); his grandchildren, Jarred Phillips, Ryan Dishman, Raelyn Dishman and Ryder Dishman; his great grandchild Aurora Phillips; and his siblings, Porter Reed Shelton and Maggie Meredith.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel (647 N Main St, Monticello, KY 42633). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
