She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse W. T. Selvidge, Jr.; her mother Elva Work Gibson; her stepfather Everett M. Gibson; her sons, Dr. William M. Selvidge (Linda) and Everett G. Selvidge (Gleta Dalton); her grandchildren, Becca Fox (Michael Favor) and David Selvidge (Rachel); her great grandchildren, Willem, Scarlett Fox, Clayton and Olivia Selvidge; her cousin Terry Work; and her sister-in-law Gwendolyn Selvidge.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to: Mountain View Baptist Camp.
