She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Harrison Bates; and her brother Robert Gregory. She is survived by: her son Christopher Jones; her stepchildren, Lisa (Jeff Perkins), Larry (Judi Bates) and Obie (Regina Bates); her brother Corbin Gregory; and her grandchildren, Talon, Levi and William Jones.
