He is survived by: his sons, Johnny Grimes (Dorothy), Gregory Lane and Carl Cooper; his siblings, Esther Johnson, Alvin (Joyce), Ralph and Kent; his sisters-in-law, Bridgette Williams (Darnell) and Kerri Ann Williams; his daughter-in-law Monique Thomas; his children, Clint Thomas, Janet Stevens and Enola Brown; his siblings, Geraldine Lawrence, Diane, Audrey Wallace and Larry; and his father-in-law Robert. He is also survived by 40 grandchildren, 62-great-grandchildren, 15 great- great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
