She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Abbott and Dewie Abbott (Rickman); her husband Arnold Odell Sumpter; her son Terry Sumpter; and her siblings, James Odell Abbott and Stella Ruth Eads.
She is survived by: her daughters, Robin Stiffler (Bruce) and Renee Adams (Danny); her daughter-in-law Tammye Sumpter; her grandchildren, Amanda Sweet (Jason), Jennifer Luther (Andrew), Dean Sumpter, Miranda Carte (Judd), Makayla Stiffler, Jacob Adams (Linh) and Blake Adams (Audrey); her great grandchildren, Avery Sweet, Lane Sweet, Charleston Luther, Epperly Luther, Ava Liegh Carte and Mila Adams; and her brother Robert Abbott.
