He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Alexander "C. A." McFarland and Eula McFarland (Tuggle); his wife Sandra McFarland; his daughter Elizabeth Richardson; and his granddaughter Lily Grace Richardson.
He is survived by: his son Trevor McFarland (Chelsea); his brother Calvin McFarland; and his granddaughters, Opal, Eleanor and Emilia McFarland.
