It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Elizabeth Hakes-Kriner of Monticello, Kentucky, who passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Ellis-Kriner (William Kriner) and Ivan Hakes; her brothers, William Miles and Karl Hakes; and her stepbrothers, Paul and Carl Kriner.
She is survived by: her significant other Daniel Wolf of Monticello, KY; her children, Douglas Kriner of Erie, PA and Carolyn Kriner-Rodriguez; her son-in-law Raul Rodriguez of Victorville, CA; her daughter Teresa Kriner-Sonney; her son-in-law Timothy Sonney of Casa Grande, AZ; her stepdaughter Mary Kriner-Van Damme of Allegheny, NY; her granddaughters, Ashley Luden, McKensi Luden and Emma Sonney; her sister Dawn Kriner-Worrell; her brother-in-law Gary Worrell of Pittsburgh, PA; her stepsister Betty Bean of Shinglehouse, PA; and her sister-in-law Jean Hakes-McCord of Blanco, TX. She is also survived by many good friends, nieces and nephews.
