He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Bell and Della Bell (Guffey); his wife Kathleen Bell; and his siblings, Richard Bell, Martha Bell, Stella Ramsey, Joyce Gregory and Linda Sue Vaughn.
He is survived by: his children, Shannon Upchurch (Steve), Jeff Coffey (Robin) and Gary Coffey (Amy); his grandchildren, Steven Upchurch, Seth Upchurch (Lindsey), Shadera Upchurch, Brandon Worth, Dustin Coffey, Jeremy Coffey (Michaela), Tyler Miller (Quinton), Jamie Miller and Dylan Miller (Kyla); and his sisters, Grace Bell and Shirle Crabtree. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel (647 N Main St, Monticello, KY 42633). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
