He was predeceased by: his father Obie Emerson Meredith. He is survived by: his mother Maggie Mae Meredith (Shelton); and his siblings, John Ted Meredith (Amber), Mary Rose Bell, Mazie Troxell (Jimmy), Daisy Floyd (James) and Carolyn Moore (Eugene).

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: the Donald Meredith Memorial Fund c/o the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home.
