He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Gerard Stauffer and Isaac "Ike" Stauffer; his wife Margaret Alice Urich Stauffer; his brothers, Charles "Chuck" Stauffer and Robert L. "Bob" Stauffer; and his son Michael Richard Stauffer.
He is survived by: his daughter Susan K. DiGioia (Nick); his grandchildren, Kim Crabtree (Arthur), Kari Sullivan (Steve), Jared Fairchild (Krista), Kristy Parmley (Michael) and Chad Stauffer (Maricel); and his daughter-in-law Crystal Stauffer. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson, a special son-in-law.
