She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bates and Adele Bates (Flynn); and her husbands, Leonard Matthew Vanover and James Arthur Cornbread. She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie Hall (Randall) and Deborah Brummett (Frank); her grandchildren, Danny Hall (Barbara), Marshall Hall (Tammy Bryant), Jeannie Criswell (Jeremy), Betty Jo "Jodie" Lovell (Johnny), Nickolas Dressler and Samantha Brummett (Sasha Foust); and her siblings, William Mack "Tommy", James, Johnny, Ricky, Franky Bates, Elizabeth Upchurch and Peggy Newsom. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
