She was predeceased by: her parents, William Atwood and Betty Kidd (Rogers); her stepfather George W. Kidd; and her brother Anthony Atwood. She is survived by: her daughter April Smith; her grandchildren, Caitlin Tipton, Christianna Penman, Katherine Bagwell, Curtis Smith, Jonathan Saiter, Shyann Smith and Alexis Smith; her significant other Charles Coffey; and her siblings, Robert Atwood, Rev. Michael Atwood, Charles Atwood, Arlene Wallace and Wilma Koger. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
