He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Pettingill and Virginia Pettingill; and his brother Bruce Pettingill of Maine. He is survived by: his wife Pam Pettingill (Daniels); and his children, Kristen Clark of Maine, Danny Pettingill (Hailey), Fred III Pettingill (Traci) and Jill Pettingill of Oklahoma.
