He was predeceased by: his mother Linda Hardin Mudd; his brother Jerry Mudd; and his nephew JT Mudd. He is survived by: his father Ernest Mudd; his wife Debbie Mudd; his children, Jennifer Mudd, Daniel, Andrea Mudd, Josh and Amanda Tomes; his grandchildren, Nicolas, Gracie, Matthew, Levi, Olivia, Taylor, Jackson and Riley; his siblings, Betty Probus, Ricky, Sandi Mudd and Malinda; and his son Bro. Stephen Mudd. He is also survived by "Nana".
