He is survived by: his wife Janet Childers; his sons, Joseph Emmett Childers (Felisha) of Seco and Matthew Childers (Dusty Caudill) of Millstone; his siblings, Mae Henson of North Carolina, Geraldine McPeek of Norton, Lois Baldwin of McRoberts, Fayetta Bevins of Neon, Delmon "Tom" Childers of Cowan and Jackie Childers of McRoberts; and his grandchildren, Taylor McBee, Noah Davis, Bailey Baker, Brady Baker, Brittany Fraley and Brianna Billiter.
