We are sad to announce that on June 29, 2022, at the age of 91, Rachel Mahan Bryant Shoemaker (Midway, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John Benson Shoemaker; and her parents, Dillard Bryant and Dora Bryant. She is survived by: her children, Lynn Todd (Barry) of Somerset, Vickie Oliver (Kelly) of Frankfort and Jan Herring (Phillip) of Virginia; her grandchildren, John Barrett Todd (Jillian), Rachel Hardesty (Brad), Tyler Todd (Hannah), Robert Oliver (Molly), Joshua Herring (Jennifer), Christopher Herring (Hannah) and Samuel Herring; and her great grandchildren, Sadie Stroderd, Lyla Hardesty, Amelia Hardesty, Piper Oliver, Tillie Oliver, Eden Todd, Sutton Oliver and Henry Todd.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
