He is survived by: his wife Teresa McKinster Hardy; his children, Melvin Edward Hardy, III and RaeAndrea "Andi" Marcum (Dwight); his stepchildren, Tarah LeBlanc (Alex), Lynette Cordero (Manuel) and Blake Combs (Emily); his siblings, Mary Hardy of Lexington, Mickey Hardy (Teresa) of Lexington and Millie Lees (Charles) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Lindsey Thrash (Shea), Allison Norton (Austin), Andrew Hardy, Tessa Caliz, Eliza Caliz, Nikolai Cordero, Myra Cordero and Elena Combs; and his great grandchildren, Reese Allison Snedegar and James Dwight Thrash. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
