It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Kain of Midway, Kentucky, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Goldson and Pauline Beatrice Kain; his children, Becky Grimes, Suzanne Hockensmith and Jack Kain, Jr.; and his grandson Matthew Wells.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Stewart Kain; and his children, Vickie Fister (Dan) of Versailles, Patrick Kain (Mary) of Midway, David Kain (Eve) of Louisville, Steve Kain (Barbara) of Florida, Bob Kain (Jan) of Midway and Bill Kain (Lynne) of Midway. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
