Though Scott may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward "Ed" Owens and Lois Arlena Irwin Owens; and his brother Timothy James Owens. He is survived by: his wife Pam Orick; his stepdaughter Amy Marcum Morrison; his son Joshua Scott Owens; his brother Charles Edward "Chuck" Owens III (Carolyn Sue Quillen) of Middlesboro; his grandchildren, Joshua, Alex and Madisyn; and his pet Milo. He is also survived by eight first cousins, many other relatives and many friends.
