She is survived by: her daughter Deana "Kay" Simpson of Pineville; her sisters, Shirley Kirklin of Pineville, Vicky Reeder of Pineville and Alice McCreary of Middlesboro; her grandchildren, Courtney Nelson (Tyler) and Jonathan Simpson (Megan); her great grandchild Leighlin Nelson; and her cousin Bill Jones.
