He was predeceased by: his father Robert Overton; his aunt Elizabeth Houtz; and his siblings, Nancy Overton Hayes, Bobby Overton, Johnny Overton, Edward Overton and Kendell Overton.
He is survived by: his spouse Kendell Overton; his children, Chris Overton, Danielle Overton Humphreys, Jade Overton and Seth Humphreys; and his grandchildren, David, Isaac, Mary Grace and Mera. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
