He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Houston and Lee Houston; and also, Ira "Little Man" Houston, Dorothy Goad, Danny Houston and Carol Johnson.

He is survived by: his sons, Randy Houston (Leanna Gulley) and Tyler Houston; his wife Melissa Houston; and his siblings, Jerry Houston, Mary McManaway, Lois Johnson and Lynn Houston.
