Opal Wilder Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Opal Wilder of Middlesboro, Kentucky, who passed away on May 22, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John W. Hurst and Myrtle Hurst; her husband Charles Doice Wilder; her children, Arlene Wilder and Michael "Mikey" Wilder; her sisters, Elsie Hurst and Hazel Osborne; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Smith, Eric Smith, Mark Smith and Jessica Wilder.
She is survived by: her brother Danny Hurst (Veda); her children, Geri Ravnum (John) of Cumberland Gap, David Wilder (Linda) of Paintsville, Debbie Good of Harrogate, Sheron Smith (Donnie) of Middlesboro, Tim Wilder (Lynn) of Middlesboro and Greg Wilder (Teresa) of Middlesboro, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Brad Wilder, Brent Wilder, Dave Wilder, Adam Good, Matthew Smith, Brooke Messer, Stephanie Treadway, Kacey Scott and Lauren West; her close friend Nina Mayes; and her granddaughter Shannon Glenn. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
