It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minnie Irene Reason Redmond of Middlesboro, Kentucky, who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schuyler Reason and Myrtle Foster Reason; her husband JC Redmond; her siblings, Georgia Etta Reason Bryant (Deak) and Winton Reason (Cleo); her niece Anna Reason Sisk; her mother-in-law Lana Eldridge; and her siblings-in-law, Harvey Eldridge (Colleen), Hubert Eldridge, Ora Lee Saylor (Freeman) and Vicki Saylor (Delbert).
She is survived by: her son David Redmond (Tammy) of Middlesboro; her grandsons, David Schyler Redmond (Sarah) of Middlesboro and Aaron Jay Redmond (Ashley) of Pineville; her great grandchildren, Georgia Rebecca Redmond and Schyler Reed Redmond; her niece Mary Reason Pratt of Dalton, Georgia; her nephews, Allen Reason of Maryville and Charles Reason of Smyrna, Georgia; and her sister-in-law Dorthy Eldridge of Harlan Kentucky.
