She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Sumpter and Ada Wilder Sumpter; her husband J. B. Yeary; her daughter Lora Ann Yeary; and her sisters, Betty Dillman, Lillie Hatfield and Lou Jackson.
She is survived by: her son Marty Yeary (Patsy); her grandsons, Dr. Adam Yeary (Whitley), Anthony Thomas (Kristy), Roger Thomas (Casey) and Corey Yeary; her great grandchildren, Logan Thomas, Gage Thomas, Braden Thomas, Skylar Yeary, Jackson Yeary and Carlyn Yeary; her granddaughters, Stacie and Tracie Eldridge; and her close friends, Jerlean Long, Jennifer Eldridge, Thelma Scott and Angie Taylor.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rose Hill Pentecostal Church (681 Highpoint Rd, Rose Hill, VA 24281).
