She was predeceased by: her parents, Claiborne Ellis and Louise Ellis; her husband Thomas McKinney; and her daughter Sharon Rucker. She is survived by: her son Garry McKinney (Edythe); and her grandchildren, Allen Scott McKinney, Renee Engleman, Kim Duffy, Charles Peaco, Lyndon Rucker and Anthony Rucker.
