She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Mayes and Magdalene Mayes; her husband Orville Gulley; her siblings, Ruby Lail, Brenda Smith and Ralph Mayes Jr.; and her brother-in-law Jimmy V. Heck.
She is survived by: her son Jason Mayes; her sister Debbie Heck; her grandchildren, Ashton Mayes, Lucy May Mayes and Corbin Clifford Mayes; and her brother-in-law David Lail. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
