He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Roy and Ethel Smith Thacker; his wife Mary Charles Thacker; and his brothers, Vernon Thacker and John Thacker.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Thacker Jr. (Karin O'Brien) and LeAnn Stepp (Michael); his sisters, Barbara Burford and Bonnie Rosnick; his grandchildren, John Blondell (Alexis Brady), Justin Blondell (Sarah Sherman), Evan Stepp (Jessica Stepp) and Rainey Fountain; his great grandchildren, Bowie Charles Blondell, Olivia Warren and Millie Stepp; and his close friend Mike Marcum. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
