He was predeceased by: his mother Ethel Gulley Perkins; his wife Shirley Perkins; his daughter Rebecca Perkins; his father William Howard Perkins; and his brother Pete Perkins.
He is survived by: his children, Sherri Griffin (Mark), Renee Perkins, Kenny Perkins, Alexis Hatfield (Nick) and Bronwyn Suffridge (Tyler); his grandchildren, Tyler Griffin, Brittany Ellis (Aaron), Tori Posey (Caleb), Tristan Griffin, Gavin Holbrook and Kennidy Hurt; his great grandchildren, Ily Griffin, Stevie Griffin, Emori Posey, Mack Posey, Lily Ellis and Cooper Vanover; his brother Roscoe Perkins; and his close friend Billy Ray Hoskins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Cawood Funeral Home (112 S 21st St, Middlesboro, KY 40965). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Calendar Green Hills Memorial Gardens (1805 State Hwy 441, Middlesboro, KY 40965).
