He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Pete, Sr. and Nettie Mike; his wife Mary Francis; his nieces, Lana Ellison and Ginger Beason; and his cousin Bobby Ray Mike.
He is survived by: his close friend Mary Gibson; his sister Billie Jean Johnston; his sons, John "Tony" Mike (Kathern) and Tim Mike (Billie); his grandchildren, Ethan Mike (Ashley), Mary Beth Johnson (Justin), Matthew Mike (Alesha), Jacob Mike (Hayley) and Trey Mike; his great grandchildren, Nettie, Levi and Hattie Mae; his sister-in-law Donnie Lane; his niece Pam Vannoy (Roger); and also, Betty and Paula Longsworth.
