We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2024, at the age of 81, John Gilmour Herd of Middlesboro, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Herd and Robina Stenhouse Colley; his son Michael John Herd; and his grandson Brett Sizemore. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Herd; his daughters, Sandra Sizemore and Michelle Partin (Marty); his siblings, Fredrick Colley (Lorie), Neal Colley (Linda), Bruce Colley (Glenda) and Rhonda Shrewsbury (Gail); and his grandchildren, Christopher Sizemore, Timothy Sizemore, Brittany Lambert (Joshua), Justin Partin, Tiffany Partin, Joshua Partin and Amber Sizemore. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and precious friends.
