He was predeceased by: his parents, Lela Belle Hamlin Gordon and George Washington Gordon; and his siblings, Mary Ann, Harold Eugene, Billy Ray and Loyd Houston.
He is survived by: his wife Lena Gordon (Partin); his daughter Carla Sue (Bobby Bennett); his grandchildren, James Hayden Bennett and Sophia Caroline Bennett; and his siblings, Leroy Gordon, Vera, Jackie, Barbara, Irene, Lou (Lonnie), Sara (Jerry) and Louise. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
